The Carena Plus is a four-function hospital bed with a clear, redesigned frame structure that allows the frame to be cleaned rapidly and supports hygiene management on the ward. It is designed around the ergonomics of both patients and staff.
The height range from 34 cm to 84 cm improves access for patients of different sizes and their ability to get in and out of bed independently, while the safe working load of 330 kg keeps the same bed in use across a wide patient population. Despite that load rating the bed remains light to manoeuvre. Trendelenburg is available both electrically and manually, side rails are safe and easily removable, and CPR release and quick-release locks on the bed ends are fitted as standard for fast operation in an emergency.
