Lojer introduces the new Emergo patient stretcher 

The redesigned Lojer Emergo patient stretcher brings together intuitive operation, effortless maneuverability and flexible configuration with practical improvements shaped by evolving healthcare needs and feedback from the field.

Developed around the realities of emergency care

Lojer has introduced the new Emergo patient stretcher, developed primarily for demanding emergency and acute care environments. The redesigned model builds on Emergo’s established strengths while introducing practical improvements to usability, patient access, dimensions and safe working load.

“Healthcare environments and needs are constantly evolving, so it’s important that our products evolve with them. Many of the improvements to Emergo have been shaped by feedback and practical needs from the field. We wanted to focus on the details that really matter in everyday clinical work,” says Milja Salminen, Product Manager at Lojer.

Practical improvements for everyday clinical work

Higher safe working load. Emergo’s safe working load has increased from 225 kg to 250 kg, enabling the patient stretcher to accommodate a wider range of patients.

Lower minimum height and more patient-friendly dimensions. The lower minimum height supports easier patient access and transfers while enhancing ergonomics for both caregivers and patients. Increased width and length support patient comfort while maintaining the maneuverability required in demanding clinical environments.

Quick, single-handed side-rail operation. The redesigned side rails allow quick, one-handed adjustment. When lowered to the mattress platform level, they provide unobstructed access to the patient and make it easier for patients to get on and off the stretcher.

More intuitive controls. Improved controls make Emergo’s basic functions easy to identify and operate, supporting straightforward use in everyday clinical work.

Flexible configuration for different clinical needs. Emergo is available as a standard model and with an X-ray platform. The Emergo can be configured with either a 2-section or a 3-section mattress platform. Its modular structure and wide range of accessories allow the patient stretcher to be configured for different clinical needs and workflows.
